General Membership Meeting

Due to the 2nd Tuesday of September being the day after Labour Day, we will hold our general meeting on Tuesday September 15th. This is for this month only and will return to the regular time in October.

Time: 10:00 AM EST, 11:00 AST and 11:30 NST.

January 15, 2026

General Meeting time change

We will now hold our general meetings the 2nd Tuesday of each month. It is hoped that this change will allow more participation especially from the office personnel members as Wednesday was week end for business submittal and many could not attend. Emails will go out a few days before and the day before. Here is the zoom link.

General Membership Meetings

General membership meetings are scheduled for the 1st Wednesday of each month at 10:00 AM EST, 11:00 AST and 11:30 NST.

The next two meetings are particularly important as we enter into contract negotiations on November 10th. These will be the most important contract negotiations we have ever entered into, and your input is very important.

Your executive is pleased to announce that we will be having regular monthly Zoom meetings. This is open to all union members (Agent / PR Unit, Office Personnel Unit and Marketing Specialist Unit) of Unifor Local 247. Notices will be sent to all members via email each month.

It is a great opportunity to meet your executive and keep up to date on what is happening within the Local, engage in our democratic organization and interact with your fellow members. Meetings will be held each month on the first Wednesday. Below is the schedule of meetings in 2025. Please encourage your fellow members to attend. The union is only as strong as its members. We look forward to seeing you soon.
